I have a decked out setup with an amazing DC router. Lots of money, but it’s the last time I’ll ever need to invest in the table. Love it!
@budwoodman17167 жыл бұрын
It makes beautiful half blind dovetails and it does it quick and easy, once you set it up, which only takes a few minutes. not only did I make new drawers for my kitchen, I then did the same for all the bathroom vanities. I then went around looking for more drawers to make (it was comical). I made new drawers for my garage cabinets. I just love this unit. I am retired and I am having a ball making things. It may be a bit pricey to buy, but it is a solid unit that will last for many years. I plan to leave it to my son after I am gone. The only thing I can see that may need replacing is perhaps the router itself. Even good ones don't last forever. So yea, I am happy with it and intend to use it to make things (not just drawers) for years to come.

Thanks great review. I just bought the Incra Ls Super system and can't wait for it. I bought the table top and everything above for under a $1,000. I will build the cabinet myself.

Good Job! I think you might have missed comments on your insights, sometimes. Maybe because you thought those were not important! They are to me! I have a 52-inch TS-LS positioner with a Wonder Fence and I get you on the right-side gray-space. Also, I'm almost from the start, tired of always needing my table saw in the middle of a router operation so I want to separate the two tools. I'm almost sold on the Incra table and the extra positioner I'll need.

Thanks - Superb presentation. I found the 0.001-inch "click" accuracy amazing. Your vacuum demo with the dado well worth it. Now going to forgo the purchase of a Kreg and buy an Incra lower end package, then upgrade more later. Best

very cool. have been looking for a serious router....looks like this is it!

You will like it. It has its downsides. Like takes up space. But it’s good. I wouldn’t get the same lift again though. Micro adjust is tough with the thumb dial
@michaell78774 жыл бұрын
They sent me the whole set of rings for me, but I purchased EVERYTHING. They did not include the T-trac though on mine. How powerful is your dust collection? I did subscribe.

Good video . (for longest reach for dado cuts the wonder fence can be removed and the saw fence used as the guide) AND this out all dust suction to under table suction (fence does none when dado cutting , anyhow)

Really good series. I appreciate you answering my questions and I now understand the set up. Also, you cleared up a question I didn't ask about why the 25" rather than the 17". I have decided the set you displayed is the one for me. Good to know information. Please continue with more great videos. Thanks from a new subscriber.

Okay, I finally got a router table, seven years later. Actually, it's a work in progress. I picked the Jessem Master-Lift Excel II with the wheel on the side to raise and lower the router in the Jessem phenolic table. I really wanted the Incra Cleansweep with the MagnaLock rings, but I guess I wanted the wheel more. I just ordered the Jessem TA fence for too much money and I just need to get a micro-adjust for the fence, which seems like it should come with it for that price. I had bought the Bosch MRF23EVS 15 amp router because I read on some forum that it was the same diameter as the 12 amp router, but it is too big and won't fit the lift. So I have to make three 6mm spacers and jump through some hoops to get the switch to work, since it is in the fixed-base handle, which needs to be removed to put it in the lift.
@dahut3614 Жыл бұрын
That's *four* spacers. I had to mill down the 0.246-inch thick "6mm" aluminum that I bought at Amazon to 0.222-inches and bent them into a slight V-shape on the press brake at work- about a 150° obtuse angle. With the spacers, it now tightens in the 4.2-inch Porter Cable configuration! There is a removable aluminum ring on the Jessem table (no plate) which holds the insert rings that is 5.23-inches in diameter and 3/8-inch thick. If someone could tell me the diameter of the Magnalock rings (and the distance across the "magnet bumps"), maybe I could make a custom ring that could fit the Magnalock rings...
@dahut3614 Жыл бұрын
It looks like about 4-13/16-inch across the "magnet bumps" and 4-3/16-inch on the round part. This is small enough to fit. I went to the Rockler store to measure the rings in the Incra Lift that fits Rockler tables. This is accurate to the extent that I could measure using a tiny keychain tape measure with not-as-young-as-they-used-to-be eyes!

Sorry I’ve been away so long. I bet you’ll like that router lift more than the one I got. The thumb wheel is difficult. How do you like the setup?
@Webendowed8 жыл бұрын
I ordered pretty much the entire system on the 7th of March 2016 and have yet to see it shipped. There is a bit of a wait because of demand I guess. Here is what I ordered and I can't wait for it to be devlivered! Here is my list: #1- The table, table top and the 25 inch LS Wonder system, #2- The Porter Cable Router 75182 motor (not sure if 3 or 3.25 hp as varying specs have me guessing until I see in my own hands)... #3- The Incra PRL V2 router lift setup, #4-the Wixey remote digital readout and a collet or so for flexibility. I've decided against the dust collector for now as the Aluminum extrusion table framing allows for I think 1/2 inch plywood or such material for custom framing of the table its self. I ordered a no wheel setup because I'm going to make my own mobile base. I think I paid close to $1400 with discounts/taxes/shipping/10% this and that... Be warned, your wife may not be as forgiving as mine and don't forget to get some tooling!!! :)
@royalsbuilt12168 жыл бұрын
+Webendowed Hey buddy. Yea it's a great setup. You're gonna love it but they usually are pretty backed up on production. Well worth the wait though. I think you made the right choice on the mobile setup. I'm not impressed with mine to be perfectly honest. If I was to do it again I would skip it too. The dust collection on the other hand I love. I have it setup to suck both from the wonder fence and the Cleansweep. Makes a huge difference. As far as tooling I have a bit of an illness and collect more crap over the years. I probably have 100 Router Bits. lol. Oh yea btw, it's a wonderful thing having an understanding wife. Makes it easier to spend all that money Let me know how you like the digital readout
@Webendowed8 жыл бұрын
I did seriously consider the dust collection system but I can craft the same thing at a more reasonable price with both hose options and say "I did it myyyyy waaayyy!!!' (little musical note there :) ) Take care and I will let you and your viewers know what I think of the digital readout system when this thing finally arrives.
@bw162 Жыл бұрын
Things haven't changed much in the wait times. In 2023, it is 2.5 months. Crazy! I don't understand the company philosophy that doesn't build to meet demand.

I really like this system, but think I would prefer a wider table for longer pieces. Does that seem legitimate or is that just analysis paralysis?
@royalsbuilt12168 жыл бұрын
+Dahut I wouldn't say it was paralysis by analysis. It really boils down to preference. A longer table would help support a larger piece, but at the same time as long as the piece registers against the bit, you wouldn't have an issue no matter the size of the table. Think about a router base. It's maybe 6 inches across, but if the bit registers correctly, the cut will be clean. Besides you can always use an outfeed roller ;)
@dahut36148 жыл бұрын
+The German Joiner Well if you're happy with it then it can't be too bad! It seems like these JessEm Clear Cut Stock Guides might be a worthwhile accessory: www.incrementaltools.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=JE04215 . Also, I see they have special MagnaLock rings with extra air passages for use with the Cleansweep system: www.incrementaltools.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=INC-CSMLRINGSET
@royalsbuilt12168 жыл бұрын
+Dahut Nice! I really like those. And I thought they were sending the magnalock rings with the grooves but I was wrong. I think I'm going to modify the ones I have and machine some grooves or drill some holes in them.
@williambranham62498 жыл бұрын
I ordered the clean sweep and depending on how it is ordered you chose the "special rings" as part of the package; or not. Your choice. If you haven't modified your original rings I'll be glad to trace my rings onto paper and send the pattern to you.Thanks, DocMebane, NC

I need to make a 3ft box. Could I use this system to make the box using dovetails? I think you said the fence is 2 ft, but could you do one end of the board turn it around and do the other side?
@dwaynesummerfield42826 жыл бұрын
Very nice review im looking to buy this fence not the hole table because i have a very small area do u think it could be used taken on and off ? Of the table my router table is on the leftwing of my table saw and i would have to remove it often ?
@dougprentice13633 жыл бұрын
I love my incra with wonder fence. But for dados, dado blade on table saw is more efficient than router. However it's nice for stop dados.

Excellent video! I just sub'd to your channel. I've got the same Incra 27" x 43" Table, stand, and LS-25 Super System along with the Incra Mast-R-Lift 11 router lift + all the clean sweep metal rings and standard metal rings, Incra wheel kit, and the JessEm power switch. However I do not have the Clean Sweep Dust Cabinet yet. How do you like your Incra Dust Cabinet, and are you glad that you purchased it? Any problems in accessing your router's speed control through the Clean Sweep access door? I have a Bosch 1617EVS router in my Incra Mast-R-Lift 11 lift. Cheers from Ontario Canada.
@royalsbuilt12168 жыл бұрын
Thanks for subscribing. The clean sweep cabinet is great very happy that I have it and no issues with the router speed controls. You just need to make sure they're facing the right direction. I love the cabinet, although it's a little bit of a pain assembling it. The o my thing I would say to stay clear of is the wheel kit. I don't like it at all.
@TYB4393 жыл бұрын
@@royalsbuilt1216 What is wrong with the Incra wheel kit? Why don't you like it?
@georgesmith77737 жыл бұрын
the first thing you have to do is learn how to use the scales and rulers with the cross hair system. I threw my Biesemeyer fence in the corner and replaced it with an Incra system many years ago. I also scratch built down draft dust collection boxes for both tables. you need to get the ring set before you loose a finger or a 2x4 down the hole

Why is the position of the ls body so far of the table
@royalsbuilt12168 жыл бұрын
I got the 25" LS. So the design is that it hangs off the table. Honestly not a huge fan of it hanging over just cuz of how it looks, but I haven't had any problems with the stability of it.
