Thank you! Pueblo probably one of the best choice for this design, as its quite soft and will mold by content of the wallet soon :) I have made one before for myself to check how it performs in real life, and it looks very nice after ±1week daily carry.

What pricking irons do you use? Are they better than your pliers?

Its the cheapest ones, diamond shape 1mm, but its works for me as im using quite thick thread. I could use pliers, but as here just 2 layers of leather and short line its quite easy to punch with chisels and make straight on backside.
