Robin fans always have to say Robin’s is best because they feel Barry is right there, as competition, but Barry fans just KNOW his voice is best, so we just say things like we love Barry’s voice. The only times we say Barry’s is better is when Robin fans have already said the above.

Their parents were Mancs, and that makes the brothers Manx-born Mancs, and they even had mixed Manx-Mancunian accents. God, the Isle of Man and Manchester definitely have something in common. Both have 'Man' in the name. And meanwhile brothers were born in Man, they grew up in Man...chester. I don't need to mention the song 'MAN In the Middle'.

I don't remember this outtake but I do know when this was taken. I know some people that attended. I think this was part of when they performed at Batleys. This is a beautiful island.

The Batley Variety Club is in Yorkshire. They performed there in 1974. What do you mean? I must be misunderstanding something. 🥴

@@susieq9801 Sorry. I may not have been clear. Rob and Barry performed at Batley’s in 09. I have friends that attended. Their children attended, too. During Barry’s trip over, they went to Man. I think to accept some award, but I don’t exactly remember. It’s been years. IIRC, this is the same time when they visited a cemetery. I referring to Man when I said that it’s a beautiful island.

Robin wanted to be front man more often. Barry couldn't bear not being the lead. He was quite overbearing. My take on it anyway.

I think Robin wanted to continue on as the Bee Gees and Barry didn't. People grieve in different ways. He has to live with the regret he wasn't getting on with any of his brothers when they died. I hope he has forgiven himself.
