I was only 6 when Ignition aired on Cartoon Network. Now I'm 23 and Acceleracers still remains one of my favorite series I've ever seen. Don't think there was ever a series I was more invested in than the World Race/Acceleracers trilogy. This song was a favorite then, and that hasn't changed. The thing that irritates me (along with plenty of others) is that The Ultimate Race was left on a cliffhanger, and hasn't had a follow-up in nearly 20 years. I want to know what happened with Vert after he learned that Major Wheeler was driving for the Silencerz, where Lani and Tezla went hiding at, and how the drones fared with Kadeem as their new leader. I also want to know if Vert learns of Kadeem's fate and goes to Hot Wheels City to see for himself. And please, for the love of god, can we find out the fates of Dan Dresden, Alec Wood, and Banjee Castillo? I also have to note that when it was revealed at the end of Breaking Point that Kadeem was not dead but instead droneified, seeing him like that scared the hell out of younger me. Gelorum: "Your situation is completely hopeless unless you reveal the location of the Acceledrome." Wylde: "You wanna know the first thing I learned in prison? Never tell anybody ANYTHING." Gelorum: "We may not be able to change your mind..." Drone Kadeem: "But we can change everything else."
