why all this emphasis on the sabbath , when jesus himself does not give it so much importance. the sabbath is part of the old covenant . the pharisees where very angry with jesus for desregarding the sabbath. jesus told them that you cannot put new wine in old skin or mend an old dress with a new cloth because it tears off. he was speaking of himself and the mixing of the new covenant with the old. even paul gives rise to the difference between the old and the new, between the law of moses and the believe in jesus christ. i really am very worried with bible speculating when preachers say things that god did not tell them to say , just like jewish priests used to say to please the people in the book of jeremiah. the allegory of the wound of the catholic church in 1798 is too streched to fit with revelation 13.

The reasons I do not believe in EGW is simple.She has said things that were to happen. They DID not. IF what she prophesied was from God, and the prophesy did not come true, then HOW could the prophesy had been from God? Because God does not lie.

I can tell you ever read last day events, or the great controversy; events took place just recently in the religious world that she said would happen back before papery was popular as it has become today, she talks about the twin towers being destroyed in last day events, she don't call them the towers as we do but she describes them to the T, also she predicted the great stock market crash and had the church pull their money out of the market before hand, and the great earth quake in the 1900 hundreds that destroyed San Fransisco.The greatest sign of her being a true prophet is she points people back to God and His word and His Sabbath day.
