Michael...thank you so much for making these available, looking forward to watching them all. It may be addressed in future videos, but if you were to 3D print the bottle, would the "crimp" print with the various portions being physically higher and lower than the original smooth crimp? I'm still trying to figure out the difference when an image "looks" 3D in a digital program vs physically being 3D to the touch.

It all depends on the 3D printer. I've done some work with a company call Stratasys. They are definitely able to print actual geometry from the height map data. Would highly recommend those guys.

For this tutorial series, I generally use the MeetMat character that ships with Painter. Just go to File -> Open Sample -> MeetMat. For the rest (including this bottle) you can get them from the Substance Asset Libary. The full Substance Asset library is only available if you have the subscription plan. But there are a bunch of free models you can download to play with. Check this link here: substance3d.adobe.com/assets/allassets?free=true

Hahaha...no no...you didn't get stiffed on Steam. The newer releases have replaced this specific material with some other ones. If you want to recreated just do this... 1. Create a fill layer 2. Set roughness to 0.05 3. Pick your color That's it!
