Depends on the type of contract you have with the person, if it is a retainer, then the profit doesnt matter but if its a profit %, then we have to decide. A good % would be above 10-15% because contracts on profits are harder to work on given their nature and 10-15% is what media agencies charge clients usually for paid marketing services. Keep in mind that this is just to give you an idea and a lot of final details depend on the product, the relationship, the geography and the context of the project etc. Hope this gives you some clarity
