@@ToastyDanziglol it really is a good series, I hope they'd make a season 2 but then they started doing their Ghost adventures and the true crime and I absolutely fell in love with Ryan and Shane, the banter and their chemistry is just phenomenal. I've not seen a KZbin Duo ever that have this chemistry bug and respect for each other I'm putting it all into everything they do. also lowkey i love the energy of shane/steven episodes. there's this specific chill energy when it's the two of them vibing-i noticed that in the episode where ryan ran off (to get lunch??) and they were talking about the joys of rearranging furniture, and again here where the pod just feels ~mellow~. (not that it isn't with ryan, but i feel like people never talk about shane and steven's chemistry and it's good.)

I relate to Annie so much on the Pokémon subject. That was like the prime of my childhood, I always had my gameboy with me with Pokemon going and my mom would get me a pack of Pokemon cards if I had been good and all that shit. The nostalgia still hits 100% when I see anything classic Pokemon related. I thrive on nostalgia and would love to feel those feelings again. The closest I've come to that sort of wonder and excitement as an adult was when I got into the MCU during the Infinity War/Endgame era.
@Elda_Reid9 ай бұрын
I played pokemon franchise all the way from red/blue to violet scarlet. interestingly, I seem to always pick the blue toned ones (blue, silver, sapphire, omega sapphire, crystal, sword and now violet). While I love nostalgia, I actually have better feelings playing the current ones coz back then I do not have access to guidebooks, I couldnt go play online, and missed a lot of the hidden secrets the game had. I only played the game on my loneliest time, so it reminded me of the joy I had during one of my loneliest moment in life. I still love them don't get me wrong, but I prefer the accesibility they have now. While I do think it is much easier now, sometimes a bit too much, but as a working parent I actually appreciate the toned down difficulty. Cheers from another pokemon lover.

As far as TV shows that have made it into the Zeitgeist recently; not many if any - Game of Thrones, Tiger King, Stranger Things - a bit earlier Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead had it's day in the sun... Sopranos, Band of Brothers... but yeah I definitely agree that things are becoming more niche and it's harder and harder to find things that you can watch with a diverse demographic.
