I've found the best/quickest way to remove exhaust residue is to use avgas. A quick sump of the tank just enough to soak the rag it comes right off. I appreciate what you do and teaching the rest of us, i thought you and or other viewers would like the helpful hint about avgas removing the exhaust residue.

Thanks for sharing, avgas is a good solvent for oil based stains, but in my experience is not as effective for the white lead residue

His special sauce is likely acetic acid (vinegar) and hydrogen peroxide. Pretty smart because acetic acid is typically stored in aluminum tanks so it won't corrode the airframe.

I think I added it in newer videos. The foamer is fun. The foam concentrate, Release Ultra is not sold on amazon.

So, Im an auto/marine detailer and had someone approach me regarding detailing and ceramic coating their planes. Will chemicals used on Automotive transfer over to Aviation? I didn't recognize any of the chemicals mentioned.

No its called Release www.cleaningsystemsinc.com/release/ It works much better on turboprop exhaust than piston exhaust. But on top of a ceramic coated aircraft like yours, I am sure it will do a great job!

Depends on the plane, usually hyper polish on a yellow rupes pad. Check out some of the other videos, I didn't go into a lot of process detail on this one
