Great video! Fun fact: Back in december I bought a faulty Series X from Wallapop for 150€ (it was powering on and after a few seconds going back off). It was never opened and to my surprise.... it was still on factory warranty! Sent to M$ for a warranty repair and now it's brand new. Easiest fix ever! LOL

Nice. :) I tried it several times with sending back Xboxs which were still under warranty, but always get a rejection even the justification was not even the cause of the problem... With Nintendo I have more luck. :D

Nice repair! Crazy that the VRM cracked. What bottom heater/preheater are you using? And do you like it? I'm shopping around for one and yours looks like it would be perfect.

Thank you. :) The cracked VRM are not so uncommon. But I think I was lucky, because I saw several Xboxs failing this way, where the VRM burned a hole though the pcb. I like that the preheater is silent, but it is a bit to small for the pcbs and the clamping is sometimes an adventure. It is a AOYUE 853A Pro. But I think the next would be a T-8280.

@ Thanks for the info! I was also looking at the T-8280 but I hear the power cord gets pretty hot when running it on 110v (i'm in NA). But I have a feeling that I'll have that problem with any preheater since they all seem to be designed for 220v :P
