Man, Denny Crum's coaching abilities really showed in his later years, when he couldn't get the quality of players that he got in his early (read: best) years, but still managed to get many wins and berths, high seeds, and wins in the NCAA Tournament.

This Arizona team played with a real purpose. All the talk on them coming into the '94 tournament was how they bombed in the first round to a 14 and a 15 seed the previous two years. As a result they were not taken as seriously as they should have been and they absolutely ran roughshod through the West regional. They gave eventual national champion Arkansas a real battle in the Final Four too.

Fun Fact: The font on these Arizona jerseys were first used in this 1993-94 season and is still used today in 2022. They needed a change after losing to a 14 & 15 seed in the previous 2 years

miss these years of basketball, now its all about AAU, Nike, and trying to go pro....and a bunch of corrupt parents trying to live their dreams through their kids. Still college basketball is the best thing to watch during March/April

Man, i got the same feeling i did 25+ yrs ago watching this! We got punked! They took Rozier out, and when u did that, his whole game was off and he became uninterested. This starting lineup had 4 NBA draft picks and Jason Osbourne arguably had the most potential and didn't get drafted after becoming ineligible 2nd semester of Soph season. But, it just felt like we wasted all that talent and a great year away in 40 mins. But, gotta give most of the credit to Arizona. They wanted it more! Go Cards..

Creepy enough, it's possible that if Louisville ends up as #3 seed and goes WEST, they could play Arizona in Los Angeles this year. In Crum's final year, we lost in the Round of 64 to Gonzaga (the first year Mark Few took over).
