I had a similar setup back in the day mine was SLP LM1’s and a SLP Xpipe with the Hi Flo cats on a 2003 Ford Mustang GT.

@joselikescars this setup will sound just a litlle bit diferent, because the GT is 2V and the Mach 1 is 4V same of the cobra, but will sound nice you gonna like it!!!

not at all. if anything it was just hard getting the xpipe to fit on manifolds but its definitely doable x pipe to Borla was very easy because the Borla is adjustable

ok thanks but i live in ca so off road x is illegal so i have to get a catted one instead, i heard the bassani catted x with borla stingers on a gt and sounds great so i would go with that

@GTwithSLPs ya this is the s type borlas. its pretty loud if you have additional exhaust work, especially an x/h pipe with no cats

Bugs me too so I actually did make a plate out of sheet metal and a dremel. Once you get your opening the right diameter its great!

Hey man if you're on the edge thinking about this setup I would say go ahead and do it! GT's will sound the same but not as "bubbly" at low rpm's but the x pipe (make sure its catless) and Borla style mufflers will give it a very similar sound. Go with Mag.TruX or Bassani x pipe. I had people follow me so they could ask what setup I had haha lots of complements.

@joselikescars oh ok. Well my mustang has magnaflow exhaust and x pipe, but i feel like the magnaflow are not loud enough for me and when i'm going 70 mph the drone is fades away and i want an exhaust that has drone all the time

these and super 44's from flow master sound the best on mach 1's hands down! def gotta say the off road x sounds better then the off road h i made the wrong choice there >.< beautiful car though bro

Dang, do an IACV bypass or make a plate that has smaller holes on the IACV. That car sounds bad ass but takes 5 minutes to idle down LOL. Im not shit talking I promise. Just a pet peev thing I guess. I did it to mine and the idle-down goes down quick like a 12.1 compression 5.8 car.

hey man, did u have any fitment issues with the x pipe and the stingers? i've heard bad things about the fitment of the 2.5" x pipe w/ the stingers and was just wondering whether you had any or not.
