I'm lifting that attrib blur noise mask gag and good luck to your store detectives trying to tackle as I bound out the door. That vector blur-esque detail on the leading edge has been parked on my wish list for two years. (Cue the "Been Caught Stealing' dog barks)

This is genius! Would have never thought of using a blur node for infection! Works so nicely!

Sick. Reminds me of the way you grown a mask in Zbrush, blur out -> sharpen -> repeat. Nice work brother

Hi, thanks for this series, and this one in particular. Using the attrib blur is a genius idea - not having to get near points and checking their mask etc makes a lot of sense.

Great stuff man, good way for beginners to approach more complex fx using simpler concepts. I tend to use the vex approach but if I am doing a quick and dirty setup, this is ingenious. Cheers

Nice! I was using the pyrosource to do something similar. But I believe what you did is more efficient and fast, also, more controlled/directable. Thanks!
