Awesome vid mate . I was wondering do you need any permissions to get to cape domett? I’m in town and would love to get up there

I prefer catching to fishing but I always seem to do more fishing than catching. First view by the way!

Those baits need to be hooked under the dorsal so the stay alive a bit longer.

The Keep and Cape Domett seem unchanged from when I was there 30 years ago. Both are special places. I am convinced a roof topper tinny would open up your options greatly though.

Cape Domett was amazing, and your right about the tinny, there was a young couple who had a tinny and they caught a monster Dew fish out deep and Mangrove Jack up the creek, however i never fish when i go back to the UK now as the fishing in Aus is so awesome and i think that if i get a tinny i won't enjoy the shore fishing so much, having said that i have just borrowed a boat to fish the Kathrine River and enjoyed it immensely.

@@zaneyoung3249 I think that is a very rational decision. Boats definitely take the lustre off shore fishing. I say that as a boat owner. Mind you, I have just returned from a four week holiday where I did some shore based fishing, which I really enjoyed, in spite of not catching anything. Fishing was an afterthought, so I wasn’t concerned about results. We are going back up north in November and fishing will be a much bigger focus. nearly all of which will be shore based.
