I sympathize with Michelangelo .. wax would make such a wonderful medium, if one could only get around that tendency to deform in the Mediterranean summers. The way two colors of wax will melt into and disperse within each other produces the most amazing transitory colors and fine effects that the brush cannot duplicate. He would LOVE resin casting, I think.

@ 😳💡❣️But just think about what he has to work with now. As I recall, he was found dead at the base of a statue he was working on with his hammer and chisel in his hands. His first choice of medium was stone, not paint.
