The Inertia Engine emerges from the fog, its glowing windows flickering to life one by one, like a heartbeat gradually finding its rhythm. To approach it is to step into an unfamiliar cadence, where time no longer behaves as it should. For some, its influence is calming, their thoughts slowing as anxieties dissolve into stillness. For others, it is overwhelming-a flood of memories, fears, and desires racing past them, too fast to grasp. Inside, the air shifts: heavy in some spaces, where each step feels deliberate and profound, and impossibly light in others, where motion feels weightless and untethered. The Inertia Engine doesn’t speak, but it listens, amplifying what lies hidden within its visitors. It reveals burdens they didn’t know they carried or potential long forgotten. Standing before its pulsating glow, one might feel unbearably small or heartbreakingly significant-a fleeting moment stretched into infinity, as though time itself mourns for everything left unsaid, undone, or unloved.

I have an unhealthy habit of working late into the night. I have realised that I cannot work at home, as it just isn't the place for me to sit and focus and work on something cerebral. I need to chill and relax at home, and be absolutely at peace with myself. This makes me stay late at work and at times, wander off into cafes, where I can isolate myself and work fully on the tasks I have. Mixes like this, are essential to me, as it helps me step into a "Productive Trance" as I call it, or more commonly understood as "flow state". I am a peculiar person, I disrupt my peace with distractions and then feel terrible about doing that, I clearly have a hard time understanding what I really am. But eehh, I guess we are all like that. Nonetheless, I feel like I can step into a better phase of my life, and be more active and productive towards my career, make it meaningful. I am a novice, a learner, I have a very long way to go, but I must make sure it is a journey to remember.
