My grandmother did the same. She woke us up at 5 a.m. every morning to have family devotion. As kids, sometimes we sleep through the entire thing but we were always present. I treasure those memories and miss my grandma.

Amen! God does indeed loves us but we don't have to remain sinners/in sin. 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. How? Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Without strength means without Christ/God. Ephesians 2:12-13 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Blood of Christ represents life of Christ. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Conclusion: Christ died to TAKE AWAY our sins. Message of hope for all who believe. Nice rendition. Just a small correction, 'Lord in the Morning' is a Congregational hymn, written by Isaac Watts in 1719. It is also in the Methodist Hymnal. The SDA can borrow it; but it is not actually an "SDA Hymn".
