Loading the steer yesterday was possibly overdoing it a bit, but Eddie couldn't do it by himself and I wouldn't put a novice in there with him, and I ended up undoing a bit of the repair on my ankle... A bit.

There's nothing worse than being stuck inside/standing still when we love moving/physical labor/jobs etc! I know that pain (though not cause of my ankle). And it's always something small (like a cow hitting a gate) that gets us and reminds us that we can't start moving totally again. hopefully won't be long till you're back out there again! Having a day of not much is really OK. Long as you can keep moving in one form or another

Your videos have been just as good for us, I think. Sure you are not doing as much, and wish you were doing more, but we get to see others helping you, and while I might not always want to watch Mikey trying to feed the cows, in the next few weeks, it can be rather interesting for something different, until you get back on your feet. I think you should give him the camera more, while you rest up a bit.

Im in the same boat, I had surgery the day before you hurt yourself and Im not allowed to do anything for 8 weeks. I too have had a couple of "really shouldnt have done that" moments and fortunately not suffered too badly for it but the realisation of the fact its just prolonging the recovery time has set in. Im now doing my very best to behave while watching people doing the jobs that I want and should be doing. Take care and try to behave, a few weeks is only a tiny sacrifice to be fully recovered and problem free for the rest of your life.

i feel foryou mate.had2weeks with my dominant arm inasling after rotator cuff surgurey,felt about asmuch use as a chocolate fire guard.then a further 6 weeks physio,thingsjustabout right now,still get theodd twinge in it tho .just take it easy mate,the bordom will ease eventualy.keep training micky up he will soon pick it up,if not emma willput him right.whatever you put up mate is allways worth watching.miss the you and abbie days.
