hi! I am quite new to playing wayfinders and Grendel caught my attention from the first moment I played it, I found your build and I try to apply it in my game but I have a question, is it a build oriented only for the endgame or can I build it while I advance in the game?

You should be able to play towards it while progressing. Haven't looked into this version of Grendel in a long time though, so I cannot guarantee perfect results.

Thanks for these, i like to ask, do you know what whirlwind gets dmg from? Is it from AP or WP? Weapon power or Ability Power? Also, could you give a tip on where it is best to get Weapon power echos?

All abilities gain their damage from ability power. There is a lot of spots for echoes. Currently not at my pc so can't send a list

Is WP Grendel decent in comparison to AP Grendel? I really like the way he plays as WP, jumping into targets, building up combo, and absolutely abusing them with a mix of weapon art, heavy and light attacks. Whirlwind just... isn't as interesting to me? I'm hoping most of my struggle is the growing pains as I try to build up to doing Mythic Hunts and not having the proper echoes, but a part of me worries WP Grendel just struggles by comparison..

I did have a lot of fun with it. Though ap is way more durable due to the healing. Would have to recheck the tree but if it's too squishy you might want to drop some talent nodes left side for the healing major node top right

@@LuqaslncredibIe I might respec into including that talent for now, just because I don't quite have the general stats to take care of things. I don't mind being overall squishy if I hit hard, I just... don't hit hard yet :P Thanks for the answer!

@@Sojo214 Yea fair. Its kinda difficult for me to judge the leveling aspect due to respecing into builds with very optimised gear already

@@LuqaslncredibIe Trying this talent setup I don't think it's enough healing to matter. I get about 160 per ability cast, maybe on an AP Grendel it would scale better? Not sure what it scales off of. What did you do as you moved into Mythic Hunts? Trying to figure out the basic elements of how you had success might be a good idea for a guide, too!

I like the leech on it due to WP Grendel not having great sources of sustain

It's for hp regen bc for grendel his self sustained is garbage but he hit some of the crazyest dmg in the game but it's preference bc he's godly if your good

Very much depends on what exactly you need. A lot of drop locations have changed or there are better options. I'd check the wiki. It has been updated a lot lately

Up to preference id say. The AP variant is smoother and easier to learn I think. The WP variant needs more practice on how to execute the weapon combos well

which mythic hunt do you get the arclight amulet from ive gotten the other 2 from bloodrage but does the amulet also drop from the same boss

Its a combination of different armours. Though with the new sets released you would have to look into the new ones anyways

Hello. I dont understand why when i awakened my weapon to 1 star. At arsenal it shows. But on my weapon screen it dosent show. Is it a bug you know of. Or am i missing something. Just learning the game.
