In the canal programmable HA is good. But always do a trial for atleast 2-3 days before purchasing

start on hearing aid and try cochlear implant. Consult a centre of cochlear implantation with good audiology backup. Good lucks

constant use of hearing aid will cause fungal growth in ear canal. Better give aidless time to ear canal for atleast 4-5 hrs

Hello dr i have a question about the difference between the RIC and the open fit

both are almost the same. RIC has receiver in the canal and it is connected to BTE part by a small wire like tubing. As it is not completly closing earcanal,it is called open fit. But Mini BTE can also be designed as open fit. Main diffrence is the type of hearing loss which they can manage. Open fit is mainly indicated for high frequency hearin loss. Hope it is clear
