My 06 has an aux in the center console. For the door insert, just pull it off and paint them black. The shift can be cover up, just like the e brake. Mines are covered or swap out. I pull the dash and the panels off and to make them carbon fiber. That mustang emblem in the middle of the steer wheel horse swap to personalize Chrome emblem. Also you want to upgraded the suspension to GT 500 forward and rare. The ride is amazing , also Change that sway bar bushing so you don’t hear those creaking noises.. My radio i went with jvc double din with rear camera. That gas cap is after market, original one come with a bp logo as the recommended gas. Good job on your video. I hope I’m not over stepping my bounds , by telling you what I did to my car. It’s nice to see someone give these cars love. After all the hate they get. Keep the content coming.

Some things you forgot to mention: I don't know what its called,but theres a little "pocket" near the firewall that helps keep water out of the cabin. If it gets clogged and it starts raining,water will start entering. The premium has some interior lighting to it.

@@ft5821 never had a problem with it closing. But have had it take multiple clicks on the transponder for it to fully disengage the lock and open.

@@SVTEvan for me the problems started when I used the trunk button on my new key fob. Sometimes I'd shut the trunk,start the car,and the dashboard would say 'trunk ajar'. I'd go back to the trunk,and it opens up easily. The dashboard sometimes even says 'trunk ajar' when its actually closed.

Yup, Two rubber plugs in the bottom of the fire wall - Those are drain channels, Your cabin air filters are also down in there. If the rubber drain plugs get clogged with dirt and leaves, etc - the drain channel will pool with water...Enough water and it will back leak through the cabin air filter box and pour into your passenger floorboard.

I just love the look of your V6 Evan. The early s197s had stepper motor issues. That issue was addressed in 09. You're correct about the mileage. The 3.7l gets better mileage for sure, especially freeway mileage. I have both, and they are deffo different animals for sure. Our 08 is stock and a fun weekend cruiser, was intended to be my daily, but I snagged that '14, which is much more fun to drive daily, especially in the insane traffic we have in Atlanta. Keep 'em coming Brother, I don't think I've missed a v6 vid of yours yet. Great content!

The 4.0 is definitely one of the better sounding v6’s out there. Deeper sound compared to most v6’s that are raspy.

Thanks Darren! The center brake light has a tinted cover. I got it on American muscle years ago. Have a new one coming next week that’s a complete replacement rather than a cover.

Not sure about the 05-09's, but my 2010 has no gas cap. I would guess that's aftermarket.

All 2010-2014's do not have a gas cap. It's not necessary with the design of the factory tank fill, they're designed that way. Many newer cars do not have a gas cap. My Wife's 2018 Durango for example. Evan's Gas cap is most definitely aftermarket. Aside from maybe Euro vehicle manufacturers, I'm pretty confident no new car will come with a locking cap that requires a separate key.
