Great video and instruction! For anyone doing this job who wants an OEM bearing at a reasonable cost Rock Auto sells NSK which is used by Toyota (it’s a Japanese bearing company) as well as KOYO. The NSK bearings are superior and only around $67 per side. I use all Toyota hardware from the dealer as far as seals and snap rings. No China parts for Toyota!

You got a link? Can't seem to find an NSK rear bearing on there....

Nice detailed video! Had an 08 Tacoma in shop last week . Pressed the old bearing off and someone had made a mess of the axle shaft from previous repair. I went with a dorman complete vs new shaft from Toyota and related parts. Had my fingers and toes crossed using a dorman but it fit nicely and worked out.

Thank you. Good to know that the Dorman complete units work well. I would consider using one on a super rusty truck, but luckily we don’t have rust issues where we are.

Great job/video! I'd like to see this done on a rust belt truck. 😉 👍 sub'd too.

If we did, we would probably consider something preassembled like this. www.partsgeek.com/n26nbly-toyota-tacoma-axle-shaft.html?UK&PartsGeek+Google+Base&+Toyota+Tacoma+Axle+Shaft+Dorman+926-139+Rear+Left+05-15+Toyota+Axle+Shaft+2011+2006&fp=pp&gbm=a&gclid=CjwKCAiA5Y6eBhAbEiwA_2ZWIb5U0W5LZDRUFCP-UYdJywYgcpjg1ArkWQiK47VS8b9uEMgrW3J6YRoC8PsQAvD_BwE
