@@masondemanuele1516 well first off don’t stress it goes by really quick, make sure to look out for the speed signs because there aren’t many, most areas are either 50 or 60 and beware of the schools zones if your test is in any of those times, there will also be quite a few places where you’ll turn left with room for a car to come up beside you so once you indicate make sure to do a head check to your left back, other than I found it all pretty simple

Today I went for my test at macquarie fields, cancelled, examiner said we will check blinkers and brakes, then saw the tyre and said poor tread, he cancelled the test. Please make a video if you could guide what things must be checked before going for test on a manual car, Thanks

Sorry to hear what happen today. I have done a video that goes through this stuff, but I have done so many vids it just gets lost. On your booking confirmation printout it lists what need gets checked with your car. It's basically signals and brake lights, good tyre tread, no broken lenses on the lights and no excessive windscreen crack that obscures vision. Best of luck next time 🤞

Going for my test on the 2nd of feb. In regional/rural nsw. Can they make you do a rear to curb 90 or 45 degree park during the test. At the test centre we start and end in a front to curb 45 degree. Just asking as my instructor hasn’t specified.

Hi Sophie it is possible that you may do a rear to kerb 45 (not 90) deg park. It depends if that is how parking is in your area and if the test routes uses them. Your instructor is really the person to ask as they would have local knowledge.

Hello Jim, could you please clear my query for the commercial area of maccquire field that ingelburn market, if we have busy round about so where we need to wait before the pedestrian crossing or after crossing the pedestrians where the breaking lines are made.where we need to stop for before entering the roundabout ?it's very confusing because very little space is there right after pedestrian round about starts

Hi Jimbo, thanks for your vids. Pls at 26:29, if you had taken the 2nd exit (Wattle Ave) you would have come to a children crossing with a stop line. What is recommended here in case school zone is not activated and there are no children or pedestrian in the area?

If the crossing is not activated as a children's crossing then just treat it like a standard crossing. Basically that means give way to people about to cross but you don't have to wait until they are completely off.

I know its about a 2 hour drive away but it would be awesome if you did a mock test for warrawong or corrimal as your content is amazing and there is nothing for that local area!

I would love to do other test areas but I don't know the routes. It takes a while to learn them. If you can send me a Corrimal route or or Warrawong route I will film at least a run through like I have just done with Macquarie Fields.

I have parked cars to the left of me, then I start holding up traffic behind wanting to go past me and head straight, while I can not find a safe gap to turn right into the drive way from oncoming traffic on the opposite side of the road because it is relatively busy. Hey Jimbo! I go for my driving test on the 30th and just wanted to ask a question. My instructor says its okay to use the space where there is a solid white line and merge over to make a left turn... Is this a good practice or not, I am just doubting this maneuver for my test. Thanks!

You can move over a white edge line with 100m of a left turn. Hope you passed.

Hey Jimbo just wondering due to the poor signage on particular roads (and being unfamiliar with the area) will i fail if i drive 45 on a 60km/h road?

With non residential you need to be within 20km of the limit. So technically on such roads 45km will not attract a fail but it will hold traffic up a bit and may cause them to dangerously go around you. If you can get familiar with the area then I think that helps.
