hi jimbo, i have my test next week, i am confused about this the reverse parking - i dont straighten the wheel and go back this is what my instructor said for me to do - - put on left indicator and line up back seat of your car with end of other car (with a 1 m gap) 2- change GEAR to REVERSE 3- turn WHEEL LEFT for 1 full circle 4- CHECK right shoulder 5- LOOK BEHIND and reverse till 45* angle 6- turn WHEEL RIGHT 1 full circle 7- reverse till FRONT door handle looks like it’s hitting the kerb 8- turn WHEEL FULL RIGHT LOCK 9- reverse until parallel 10- change GEAR to DRIVE 11- make a STRAIGHT WHEEL and roll forward leaving a 1m gap

Hi Jim, your videos are literally a life saver. You do such a wonderful Job. Thank you!. Unfortunately I did not pass my test on first go on this route and I wanted to pick your brain on this. I had a great score(102/104). I had no observation or signal errors but I did have two F1 fail and both of them were yellow lights. As you are well aware, the lights on the Macquarie route do not have an arrow. I met the light on a red and was the third car. When the light turned green, the first and second cleared the intersection and as I moved and crossed a little bit over the red light line moving to the intersection to wait to turn right, the light turned yellow. To be honest I did not expect that that to happen. So I used the breaks but I was already a bit over the red light line and so I moved and cleared the intersection. The second time it happened on the test, I was too heartbroken and invested in the first time that the yellow light incident happened again. What would you advise I would have done in this situation? I’m taking the test again in a couple of days. Thanks

Hi Jimbo, I had a question about the P's Test. If you are in the left lane and stuck behind a really slow person are you allowed to overtake when it is safe to do so? Or should you just stick it out and stay behind them.

Hey Jimbo Wish I was here to say I passed first go But hopefully next time haha I did have a question My score would of been great But I failed by when doing some of my right turns I used one hand on the inner steering wheel Instead or criss crossing your arms over I had two hands on my steering wheel, turn was fine but one hand was on the outside and one must of been face down on the inner through out the turn I actually didn't know I was doing it lol But did u have a video where u demonstrate that or if u had any tips or answers Be much appreciated 😊

Well I failed my test. I had the worst test scenario ever. It was raining and in the middle of the school day. I had 13 hazards on my route all of which I maneuvered fine. But I had a parked bus in a single lane with double unbroken lines. I stopped allowed approaching traffic to go past, cut over the lines and cut back. I didn't realise I had to indicate or head check both times so those were 2 errors. Failed with a score of 113.

How long time is the driving test?

Hi Jimbo, passed my driving test 1st GO at Castle Hill this morning. I was converting my overseas license to NSW license. I've paid for an international license before coming over to Sydney on a temporary resident visa for a year and the thought of needing to spend MORE money (DKT, driving test booking fee, license itself) to convert the license to use for only another 6 months was a dreadful process (not to mention the stress of doing it). I binge watched ALL your videos which answered all my questions down to the minute details. It's as if you heard my questions and address them in the subsequent videos. A huge THANKS for your amazing videos which helped me save heaps on driving lessons! Bought you coffees! Stay safe ✌!

And the different scenarios, also do you always need to match the new speed limit quickly when merging into the freeway/highway ?what if theres a lot of cars?
