Lightning bolts struck the two tallest buildings in downtown New Orleans just 15 seconds apart from each other! Occurred late on the evening of June 17th. More close lightning and intense thunder throughout the video.

I’ve been in the Lace St. Charles bldg when it was struck by lightning.

If the engineers designed the buildings right with the grounding and all - the system absorbs most of that energy. But, with that said, as an I.T. professional, lightning is considered very unpredictable so stuff can be damaged & people can be electrocuted. Great video.
