During his other relationships, Jason's role was more passive and he was the one that did the listening but he hardly ever shared his inner thoughts nevermind his feelings. But with Sam, Jason found a kindred spirit, an equal, someone that was truly accepting of him for who he was and what he did without any judgements. He found someone that loved to live dangerously and on the edge as much as he did. And that was a totally new experience for him. For, as time went by Jason grew more intrigued with Sam and his feelings for her kept on growing deeper and to a whole new level unrecognizable to him. Blessed be!

I mostly agree with you, except Robin is very similar to Sam in many ways. They both got him to open up & talk, laugh, make jokes, dance, be silly, be comfortable being himself…and Robin did not really say anything about his job until he got shot & she was afraid he might die. Then he actually left the mob for Robin at one time (or at least tried to, bc he obv returned), but Robin told him she accepted his lifestyle & then moved in with Jason & Michael & she helped raise him the first year if his life. With their loyalty & love they would still be together if not for him holding on to anger over Michael. Although ironically later when M gets shot Jason sees he made a mistake in keeping M bc he would have been better off with the Quartemaines. So he went to Robin & apologized for holding on to that for so long & pushing her away…❤ he loved her a lot.

Sam started to fall for Jason. She couldn't helped herself and started to see him as more than a friend. Sam was visualizing her life with Jason. It didn't matter that she was conflicted about Sonny. For a while now, her feelings had been shifting towards Jason. It's interesting because it was happening to Jason too. It was not about just the baby anymore. But both of them were in so much denial that it was almost funny if not ridiculous to watch. Nobody would have those kind of dreams unless there were feelings involved. This was the beginning of a great love story. Soon enough, they would become unstoppable, unbreakable, undeniable and inevitable. Blessed be!

Ouch, Jason kept throwing Carly's words back in her face. I get why she hated Sam so much lol, up until then Jason never really yelled at Carly like that or throw her past in her face like that lol. She always runs all the women out of Jason's life but this one wasnt going anywhere and she wasnt even romantically involved with him not to mention Jason dug his heels in.

I don’t understand the need for the actor that plays Sonny to always have to yell his lines. I thinks it makes the scene feels dramatic but it’s loud and irritating.
