Great video. I live in Las Vegas, can you recommend me where to go to get my roof DVD player fixed. My vehicle is a 2009 sienna XLE. When the DVD player gets plugged, the stereo start stuttering. When I unplug the DVD player, stereo works fine. What do you recommend I should do?

Is there a way to disconnect the car's power lead from the dvd player and use a different power lead from an aux. battery ?

I'm sure it's possible but I don't know what wire(s) you would be to splice into. You could try unplugging the harness and probing each wire with a voltmeter when the car is on to see which one(s) get power. Best of luck!

Thanks for the video! Question - once you have it apart, is there a way to replace the actual DVD player itself, just the disc drive? Or is it a specific disc drive?

I don't remember much about taking it apart. If you could find the part I don't see why not. If its already broke you don't have much to loose taking it apart and seeing if there is a part number on it to search for.

@@Goldenfab Makes sense. Did the pennies come out of the disc drive itself or just out of the whole enclosure? I've got kiddos and I suspect something similar has happened...at least I got hope that's all it is.

@@cssplat They were in the disk drive itself. Once I got them out it worked. Its been working ever since.

@@Goldenfab Did they just fall out of the disk drive or did you have to open the drive up to get them out?
