this was inspired from a very old video here on KZbin where someone uses a similar invention to remedy the same issue. this video, titled "easy load fix", shows a great example of the product in use, but doesn't actually explain how it works or why it works. my video does.
after I finished recording, I tested with a few cds, and found the problem was much better. it still occasionally has issues ejecting, but it's only happened a few times in between dozens of uses. this works.
all materials were things you can easily find at stores in any mid sized town or city, and cost less than $20 in total. don't trust the "cleaning disks" you can buy, they won't solve this problem and can damage your cd player. do this instead

I used a booklet that came with a CD. It is the same width as a CD. Be sure to remove the staples first. I poured isopropyl alcohol on the booklet. I made a "handle" out of duct tape and stuck it in! I wiggled it around for a while and took it out. In seconds, I successfully inserted a CD and it played! Thanks for the help!

Man, it works!!! However, I completely disassembled the CD changer and wiped the rubber roller with alcohol. Collected and everything earned correctly! The problem was in the random inclusion of the CD changer (without a disk) and the final output of "loading error". And also there were problems with the capture of the disk, as you said in your video. Hello from Ukraine!

I fount the product that is similar to what the host is talking about. I order it on eBay today. Thanks to the host this may fix my cd player, but I probably won’t use it much. I have a Grom Bluetooth audio being shipped to me to emulate a disk changer and allow me to play music via Bluetooth, but the stereo system will think I’m using a cd changer brilliant idea 😊😊😊🎉

Hi Riot, the deck in my 2005 Chevy Duramax stopped loading. I removed the unit and found that the rubber sleeve is loose from the geared loading ROD. I almost have the unit disassembled and would like to know if you or any other viewers can recommend an adhesive to place on the sleeve and rod that won't be a future issue. I also noticed that the tiny plastic gear on the end of the rod is slipping so that the tray motor turns but the roller rod is not gripping the CD, pulling or pushing on the disc. Any suggestions ? ? ?

If you get high use your hemostats you might ruin the cd/dvd but you can grab it out

I had problem car cd would not take in a disc... so I kinda pushed it in with a thin item... now it is in but seems to be stuck..... and cd player doesn't play it.. got any suggestion where to go from here please?

If you ever get a stuck cd put tape on the end of a credit card. There's a great visual application here on KZbin to see before you try.

Ive got a 96 Fleetwood Brougham and the cd wont load or eject and the tape player doesnt read it just tries a few times and spits it out. Any suggestions?

No. Hand sanitizer is not 100% alcohol. There are other ingredients in it that could harm your cd player. Stick with isopropyl alcohol

Just use the cd itself, put a pice of tape on it to grab on to it and spray alcohol onto the cd and voila...😆 I have a handheld vaccum need to see where that is but it seems that giving it a good vaccum sucking to get all the dust out might help initially ...😇

On two of our cars (older, 2001 and 2003), the disc is taken inside, then makes 3-4 clicks and then comes out. Occasionally it starts playing, like catching smth inside of the radio CD player, but in most cases, the disc just slips and comes out. What that can be and how to repair this problem? Thank you for the great film.
