Love that you can hear a bit of Hornet's theme in there, as they're both defenders of Hallownest. And Hornet's theme is already a variation of the Pale King's theme, so it makes sense that his knight shares the leitmotif.

It extends even down to Ogrim and Hornet's titles as bosses. Both of Ogrim's boss battles have "Defender," and even "Sentinel" in Hornet's second battle means someone who stands guard, relating to her standing guard over the Cast-off Shell and the King's Brand inside.

Jesus Christ. That chord progression from 3:09 - 3:21 is so powerful. Goosebump inducing. I remember in high school band my band director would get really into it when we were playing a particularly powerful bit, jabbing his baton in the air like a madman. That's it right there. Desparate triumph. Mainline that right into my veins. In elementary band, our class did a soldier song. It culminated in this battlefield bit where everyone went silent and the snare drum let out this excruciatingly loud POP... POP... to express our character soldier being fatally shot. The band instructor literally told the snare player to hit the drum as hard as he could and not worry about whether it breaks. I would have liked that level of energy from the timpani in that segment.
