In the late 80s I worked with a guy who enlisted in the AF with a 2 year degree in electronics. A couple months after he left 2 DoD types showed up and interviewed everyone in the store concerning him. Years later learned he had been assigned to work with the B-2.

The B-2 is really one of those aircraft you don't hear about everyday...hell,this thing you can't even see or hear(and it's better,at least in my humble opinion,to be seen, not heard)! And this is arguably one of the deadliest aircraft flying right now...the mere fact that this thing can nuke you and you'll never know it was there is just scary...I don't think there's any war machine today that can do such a thing. Great episode btw!

Worth saying that the B-2 is really the realization of Jack Northrop's life work. He'd been researching and designing and promoting flying wings his whole life. He made the YB-35 in WW2 and the YB-49 in the early cold war. He had retired from the company by the time of the ATB project but his company knew what it had to do. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5uxh6GIoMd2hMk It's a beautiful moment

To me it doesn't look much different from the B-2, but the advancements in material science, production, and all other realms related to building a plane of this caliber would be the stuff of science fiction if you went back in time and showed it to the people that originally drafted/built these planes 30+ years ago.

There is a very, very subtle downward curve on the B-2's most forward point. There was an article or podcast I remember from a couple of years ago that talked about how they studied the flight patterns of hawks or falcons to get the shape of the plane just right for flight/aerodynamic purposes.

I love the planes so much but on an adult level we have to be careful with how we fund the military industrial complex. In order to get a plane that means you have to convince congress of an enemy. We’ve had a deep history of once we get the plane we have no choice but to go to war and you have to be a mature responsible adult that can separate the emotion of a bad ass jet and human life cost at the same time. I’m actually pretty proud of Russia that they stopped engaging in the military industrial complex activities. Had they continued we would of never had the Cold War end. Because we thought we had to keep building them now China is our biggest threat and we really have no choice but to build new jets because we had poor leadership. It’s so sickening when you’ve lost multiple friends to war

It’s disappointing having to pretend the B-2’s low observability is due to coatings and geometry when in reality it’s far beyond that. Probably why Russian and Chinese attempts at stealth have not been anywhere as successful even with espionage. It has been known since the earliest days of radar tracking of reentry vehicles that plasma is excellent at absorbing radar energy. 30 years on and this "flying capacitor" is still alien tech compared to anything in the public domain. An interim starship for a world where certain sciences are suppressed, heavily controlled or forbidden except for those “behind the Green Door” of special projects. Anyone remember that leaked video released by Northrop showing an ionized orange glow discharge to the vapor cone enveloping the craft? Pity almost all details of this vehicle and the technology still haven't been declassified. This includes the brilliant adaption of a flame-jet as an electrostatic generator mimicking a silent reactionless field drive. The thing has enough computation for radar imaging too I believe (synthetic aperture).

Hey Paul, I won’t give any whistleblower names except for a civilian reverse engineering wizard named Dr. Paul LaViolette who was an outsider to unacknowledged special access programs, yet was able to independently develop his own unified system to explain almost all of the effects and phenomena being investigated in the black world. He wrote several books about this. Most people have no idea for example, that the current electrodynamic model we have is flawed and incomplete despite giving us this “amazing” technology. Maxwell’s original equations were written in quaternion (higher topology algebra) describing an open system (non-equilibrium, hidden order/variables) not dissimilar to esoteric/mystery school teachings. His original theory permitted a polarizable vacuum (mass-charge coupling) which is the basis for highly classified electrogravitics technology including hybrid craft like the B-2. It also permits the extraction of free energy from the virtual vacuum flux which is NOT the same as perpetual motion the pseudo-skeptics always use to strawman. This is why objects like the tictacs seen by the US Navy seem to have infinite endurance despite the tremendous energy requirements. Maxwell’s equations kept getting modified and restricted by people like Gibbs, Heaviside, and Hertz to a lesser extent through ideas like symmetrical reguaging using vector notation. Whether or not this was intentional suppression by the Cabal through their “scientific” institutions like the Royal Society (deep links with occult secret societies) I have yet to find evidence for but I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve realized that most of humanity has truly been treated like coprophilous mushrooms - fed sh*t and always kept in the dark.
