I had the same problem with the cooler lines. Mine was just a different size. A little different in shape but appeared the same size.

Yea that two holes gasket I had I bought previously for my 01 Silverado 2500 while back and it fit so thought I’d try it lol learned my lesson there.

You have to put RTV between the front cover and back cover that meet the block. If not your still gonna have a oil leak. If the factory didnt do it then that's why it leaks you have to replace it. Put RTV and let it setup before adding any oil.

Yezzir I put the rtv in the corners at the front and back cover it’s the best way to do it never had leaks done this job plenty of times. I made this video cuz I’ve seen on creators using the rubber gasket and covering the whole pan and block in some cases (future nightmare). Appreciate the comment brother!
