The interactions that Sam and Monica have had so far have being really great because they have being opened and honest from both sides. Furthermore, the fact that Monica was able to see passed Sam's past and she stopped her judgement it spoke volumes of her. Also, Monica noticed just like Courtney did that Jason's motives to help Sam might be more complex than Sam might be thinking of. Nevermind the fact, as Courtney very well pointed out that Jason would have not gone through all the great lengths that he had to help Sam if he didn't respect her. So, at this juncture Sam and Jason were still getting to know each other while at the same time their feelings were growing stronger and deeper. That's exactly what happens when two kindred spirits find each other and are able to recognize one another's soul as Jason and Sam did. Blessed be!

Gotta love these little moments. Little by little. Closer and closer. Stepping stones to adding onto a list of things jason has done for her before they even got together.

That was a great reaction from Sonny when he came to realize that Sam trusted Jason but she didn't trust him. He knew that Jason and Sam were growing closer with each passing day but he didn't know how much. But it was awesome that for once Sonny got a taste of his own medicine because Jason got Sam's trust and she was able to confide in him but not in Sonny. Which was something that Sonny as the egocentric maniac that he was couldn't get his head around that fact. But more power to Sam! She was able to build a sound honest relationship with Jason something new to both of them. Granted, Jason had other honest relationships in the past but during those relationships he could never be his true self because he was never accepted for who he was and what he did. In all of his previous relationships, he was expected to change somehow or somewhat. But with Sam since the beginning from the very first conversation there was raw honesty. Jason was able to be his true self. There was no need to hide any part of himself. Like he told Sam while she was in the safe house, what you see is what you get. He never said that to anyone before. It was a truly liberating moment for Jason and he had it with Sam. That's what we meant when we said that Sam and Jason built a relationship based on raw honesty, unconditional acceptance, understanding and support without any judgements. Which allowed them to become each other best friends and confidants. Up to the point that even when they were at odds but when it mattered it the most, they never stopped loving and trusting one another implicitly and wholeheartedly. They always had each other's back. They never stopped loving one another. Blessed be!

I think this episode was important. In my opinion, this is where it really shows Jason falling for Sam. Now Sam, she's really seeing Jason as an important friend. It just took her a little longer to show her feelings.

Jason should remind Sonny that if she does not stay with him, she will eventually meet someone, and probably get married. Sam would not stay alone forever. With Sonny’s fear of a bad stepfather, he would surely rather Jason be his daughters’ stepfather than a stranger. Carly is so selfish. Everything Jason did was for Carly and Michael.
