Probably the best instructed video about this repair. Gonna have to tackle thos job tonight not looking forward to it hahaha

@GlassWerx did you put the Oring inside of the lower hose or did you just slip it over the radiator outlet and put the hose on?

@azeeninety55 the o ring goes inside of the hose connection that way it sesls correctly

@@GlassWerx just now finished it all up was able to do it by removing fan shroud and grill only. I'd say the longest part was removing the grill all those damn little tabs. Gonna wash up my old radiator with hole in it keep it for few months then turn it in on warranty hahaha good shit bro

It can be a real pain n the rear. The hardest part was getting the lock tabs off to separate the radiator n condenser but I just broke them off but maybe u will have little better luck then I did lol. Lmk if ya got any questions or anything like that.

@@GlassWerx well got fan shroud and everything off the top pretty much , but cant get that front grill off, how you take off those plastic clips on the bottom of grill???

@@puerco911 on the bottom of the grill there are little tabs that go thru slots in the bumper cover. On a few of them are some metal clips with spikes pinched onto them to keep them from sliding out of the front bumper cover.you have to pry them off the tabs. On the video I did on installing the new grill that iv got I show them if u need to see them better n what to look for

@@puerco911 ok good deal it was kinda a pain to get them out even after the clips were off. It's been so long now since I swapped grills out I don't quite remember if there was anything else holding it on. I'll check the vid as well as the original grill n see if I missed anything

@@CINORX glad it was of help forys. yeah I didn't have to remove mine either I think if I remember correctly just unbolted them to maneuver a little bit better.

@GlassWerx copy. I didn't unfortunately. Just a Lil upset now, since after installing everything back water pump bearings are going out.

The plastic shroud over the radiator you mention at about 2:45...how the heck do you remove those pesky clips? My 2014 Expy has clips with a little Phillips head screw in them. The screw just spins when I take a Phillips screwdriver to it. Afraid to be too aggressive for fear of breaking the clip.

@@DragonPilot those little plastic screws are a pain honestly. I just use a flat head screw driver to put under the little round washer looking thing there screwed into. If u have a trim removal tools u can use it to put tension on it or even a fork from the kitchen works. If you happen to break one you can get a box full of different plastic screws and push locks like alot of cars use from harbor freight for like $10-12 bucks I think is what I paid for mine. Once you get tension on it the screw will come up n the clip will slide out but if it breaks some auto parts stores carry them as well if you don't have a harbor freight local.

@rallythru glad it helped. As far as adding trans fluid iv seen where people have said they have used one of the hand pumps and pumped it thru the lines at the trans cooler iv not tried it myself but iv added it thru the excuse of a trans dipstick from under the truck with one of the little hand pumps.

What size o ring or seal was the bottom hose for the radiator because mine didn’t have but it is leaking

If I remember correctly there are 2 different types hoses on the radiator one has the snap ring and the other has like a metal tab that has to be popped up and twisted off. But u would just have to check n see which u have then pull the rubber ring out n match it up. I don't recall the size unfortunately it's been too long since I did this now

Did you need to add transmission fluid after?

I think I had to add maybe a quart if that. But id definitely recommend after you get everything back together crank it up n get the fluid flowing again then while u have it in the air pull the dipstick n check your levels. The dipstick is on passenger side only accessable from the bottom unfortunately unless u get an aftermarket dipstick added to it.
