What code or symptoms did you have that you needed to replace the TB? I have a 08 cx7 that looses power at times. I got a p2135 code

I just went to autozone and the code was P2100. I watched another video on here the mechanic stated P2100 is a throttle body. Going up hills I loose power. In high humidity I can feel and hear that the valve isn't opening. I bought a vvt valve and a pcv valve too. I watch my neighbor fix his mazdas across the street. He is forever under those hoods. I changed the turbocharger and the metal pipe going to the turbo charger no sooner fixed and this throttle went. So why not replace all three. I reD in a mazda forum a tech stating 2007 are notorious for actuator problems.

Do you drain the coolant first or is that not necessary???

I think not necessary to drain the coolant. I’m doing it tomorrow, replacing the throttle body.
