is there no way to get the camera inside of a model, like for an interior view inside of a building???

Sorry, cannot yuo just use crt, alt, shift and the wheel to control the camera's views and perspective?

when I give the command to show the camera in top view, than all the other view changes, but if I move the camera around I can't see the effect in any view. Thanks

You need to have the perspective view active when you do the command. The orthogonal views won't be easy to manipulate the camera because it is locked to only show down from above.
