I can imagine. It would be a good approach and it would speed things up. However, I am fine with a little exercise so for now I will keep it like this. In previous episodes we tried driving up, but we didn’t have traction. That is easily fixed, it takes some time. Still, good idea though, I am just stubborn like that

The Raspberries we have here propagate and spread pretty quick. Our patch went from 3 plants to a 12 x 2 meter patch in just a few years. So if they are anything like that I'd pick a place for them where you want them to fill in. Honestly can't wait to see how your gardens and landscaping turns out.

I don't know if you have any of that flexible tubing plumbers use, but if you have some, cut it into four to six foot lengths and slip them over your new trees until the trees are established. It will keep the wind from snapping them. You might plant the raspberries against the canal wall. The heat from the wall will encourage ripening. If you think that would be too hot, what about against the iron railing? You're doing well! It might be time to order another rubbish skip for all the organic waste. I think you could easily fill one. 😁

Oh my goodness, SO excited for ALL the plans...and PLANTS...lol You young man are dauntless in the face of flora. I'm glad your Dad is with you despite the recovery. I believe I saw some fruit trees in your parent's yard that were trellised...espaliering is a possibility for saving space. I also like the idea of planting fruit trees along the canal. Those panes of glass will be fantastic for a greenhouse! Villa Oliva is well on her way to a renaissance! By the way, with the name Oliva...are there Olive trees on the property? ...and yikes, more trash! Those suction grips for moving the glass: excellent! ...and that was only HALF? Oi! I just now read some of your description: Sam and Lyanne. I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things to come.

*"For example, an apple tree that is not grafted will not produce fruit for about 10 years, whereas a grafted apple tree will begin to bear fruit after 4 years. This occurs because the bud used in grafting is already mature. Disease-resistance: Grafting is also used to control some diseases."* good to know, eh? I guess this how you set the type of apples your tree grows, without just waiting for it to happen by wind and bugs and time.

I'm wondering if you can get a crew in there to get rid of all of it so there would be a workspace were all of your good helpers that you have by association would be able to get that villa up and running...with good sewer and water...that is the first step...next you have to get it with good electricity... that cannot be done with your current plastic and weeds around your property...the villa is so beautiful...now make it so you can see the beautiful outside...there is so much to do...

Hi! Wondering if you have considered placing the green house on the patio/roof at the the top of the house. It would ensure the plants get plenty of light throughout the seasons. As you are learning, ivy is a very invasive plant. I would remove it completely from the fence and where ever you find it (most of the yard) or it will grow back and smother your plantings in no time. Removing it from the fence would allow your plants more light and air circulation. Keep up with your hard work…

What have you used to keep the glass from falling forward? It looks pretty unsafe just standing upright as they are now. Why can’t you drive up the driveway to the house? The gates are wide enough and you said there was a driveway the previous owners would use. It must be very inconvenient to have to park outside the gate and have to carry everything. It better not to buy trees and other permanent plants until you have prepared a place to put them. Planting them to block the view of the road will also block the sound when they are in full leaf.

I hope your dad’s accident wasn’t too bad! Thank God he’s okay! Truly treasure him! my dad passed away in 2011, many days I wish I could sit and have a conversation with him 😢💔 your dad seems like a very hard worker. You both are, including your girlfriend. My spouse and I enjoy watching your videos/vlogs.
