Do the writers definitions of Gay, Bisexual, and Straight apply to the world at large ? These are things that are important to someone who is struggling with accepting their self as Gay. Like PlatypusRising55 said. Christian has never been together with another man, and apart from Olli he only shows interest in other women. Rebecca, Miriam, Jessica...Olli fears Christian might be looking for something that he can't give him. That makes it a much more serious problem because a relationship doesn't make much sense under this case.

If Christian were a bisexual man potentially interested in ... a woman like Jessica, this would have emerged long ago. And obviously both men would have had to tackle the issue when they chose to get married last year! Two years ago, Christian clearly chose a gay identity; he was free at the time to identify as bisexual, had he so wished. No one forced these two to marry. No, what we see here is painfully obvious, heavy-handed interference by writers hell-bent on engineering a break-up.

I feel Olli has reaason to mistrust Christian. At this point in their relationship Christian has kissed Miriam and Rebecca, and now has told Olli that he slept with Jessica. How could anyone trust him. This most recent lapse must be more painful because they are married and Christian has already broken his vows. I feel for Olli because when trust is broken, it is so hard to rebuild, and you can tell he wants so badly to move past this but he is so afraid that he will get burned again.

@MrBahhh31 Oh I know. But when Christian told Olli what happened he told Olli that he cheated because he believes he did. He even said that because he cannot fathom why on earth he would have been naked the morning after. So from Olli's view he believes Christian cheated, so he feels betrayed, and until the truth comes out he is going to feel that he cannot get past this. Yet even though I do not think Christian cheated, he and Olli have issues that they need to work out.

We all know that Thore is a master at letting his facial expressions convey his emotions. It's like whatever is going on in his mind is instantly written on his face. So, I was confused by his expression when Olli was telling him how hard it is for him to deal with his supposed infidelity with a woman. I couldn't tell if he was just at that point finally realizing how much the woman thing actually hurts Olli, or was it more "Oh, shit, I thought we were through with all this"? Any thoughts?

@locopoco24 .. I do not know what Europeans you know, but the ones I know are open minded about others sexuality and identity, except for the ones who are not. They are accepting of peoples differences. Yes, they are much more open about sex than puritanical American Christians are by a long shot, BUT, the European Gays I know are GAY, the European Bisexuals I know are BISEXUAL, and the European Striaghts I know are STRAIGHT. And the fluidity stops there.

@soonersherewego "If" Olli loves Christian? It doesn't seem fair to even question that, when Oliver has stood by Christian through so many things and loved him unconditionally. That includes several of these "lapses" that Christian has had. I agree that cheating is cheating, and it doesn't matter who it's with. However, we're now on the third woman Christian has had a lapse with since they've been together. It seems human of Olli to at least wonder if there is anything to that.

I think Chrolli fans are collectively grieving right now. Sure, there were times when Olli and Christian were having problems but it never seemed so close to ending until now. Three years they have been together. Many of us are also DeRo fans. All of our favorite gay couples seem to be falling apart... I find myself thinking about these two couples during my day like they are real. A good sign I definitely need to take a step back.

@pppmanly I agree. That's why I'm really trying to just take the story as it comes and enjoy it (even when difficult). I have been happy that at least the story is about them, and C&O aren't just props for Helandi like they had been lately. This is the nature of soaps--you have to take the pain as well as the happy. Plus, we got the first bedroom scene in I don't know how long! I think that they will come through strong in the end, but there are consequences to certain actions. Enjoy the ride!

Now, those same insecurities Tom had about Olli are the same insecurities Olli has about Christian. This left doors open for fluidity or just plain confusion within Christian's sexual identity. Christian never really clarified anything when Oliver questioned his sexuality last year. It makes me wonder if their marriage was forced. They couldn't even tackle the issue whether they both wanted kids before they got married.

But, Christian was insanely jealous of Olli & angry at him when Olli was sponsoring parties at No Limits with Rob & Christian grabbed Miriam during one of the parties & gave her a big kiss out of spite at Olli. Later on during the same Rob/jealousy storyline he kissed Rebecca once when she was coming on to him. He later confessed the Rebecca kiss to Olli. So...

Yet, his actions say otherwise; he encourages the guys to "lie" about it and wants to blame it all on Christian. In truth, that's the ultimate act of selfishness since he doesn't really care about his girlfriend's feelings (or his friends). If you really care about the other person, you must be honest, even if it hurts them.

I was hoping something like this (infidelity) wouldn't happened. The warning that the writers gave us was how the swans figurine broke. This symbolizes something special to Olli and that was that they would always be together. Also Olli's dreams are also a foresight into the future I think. I PERSONALLY DON'T WANT THEM TO SPLIT UP! I agree to the others that say that we need to know the 100% truth of what happened that night. I hope that Christian and Jessica didn't do anything.

@justbecause421 The challenge I think writers for long-running soaps face is to keep the audience interested. Much of the audience (myself included) want perpetual "happiness" for the characters they love, but get bored if there is no drama in the storyline for an ongoing period of time. Some of the same people who complain when their favorite couple's relationship is challenged are the ones who complain when the couple has less drama going on and therefore get less screen time. :)

Okay. I watched 70b again. I think Olli's fear of Christian with women is more than the history they mention but is complicated by the can't have/adopt children issue. I don't have enough time or space to list out all in insecurities in this & I can't list them out without getting nauseous either. But most Chrolli viewers are smart enough to factor that into this fear of losing C to women. WOW & WOW! This is really complex.

A lot of people are saying that they don't think Christian cheated on Olli, but what exactly is cheating? There's a chance that Christian did not have intercourse with Jessica. However, from what was shown, we know that he enjoyed the striptease, allowed her to take off his belt, and nussled his head firmly in her breasts. You can only go so far when you're married. Plus, Jessica may be a sociopath, but what could she possibly gain from "framing" Christian? Until last week, they never coexisted.
