08.11.2019 - VN24 - truck accident on A1 - complicated recovery takes hours

VN24 - Herbern / Germany - In the early morning hours before 6:00 a.m. a truck driver left the road with his refrigerated semitrailer truck on the A1 near Herbern and drove into the ditch for reasons not yet clarified. The semi-trailer truck, loaded with 18 tons of yoghurt and milk products, lay down diagonally on the slope in the direction of Dortmund and slid along it for many meters. It remained in this sloping position. According to previous findings, the driver was slightly injured and was taken to hospital. The quite simple accident turned out to be a difficult action. Since the tipping point was not reached during the erection, the truck lay down again and again in its bed. Only with two recovery vehicles and an 80-ton crane it was possible to erect the truck and pull it out of the ditch. The recovery continued well into the noon.

@@arminweber1258 Mit der richtigen Mannschaft hätte glaube ich das Gerät genügt, so ein Mobilkran braucht natürlich deutlich mehr Vorbereitungszeit als zwei Bergungsfahrzeuge. Letztere richtig eingesetzt (und evtl. 30 min Vollsperrung akzeptierend) wäre das auch gegangen.

Hartmut Stroese ja, und machen beim bergen mehr Schaden als beim eigentlichen Unfall. Wenn die Abschlepper hier so arbeiten würden wie man in den Dokus der abschlepper in Kanada und USA sieht, wären die bald arbeitslos, da sich die Versicherungen weigern würden, den verursachten Mehrschaden auf Dauer zu bezahlen.

Das ist so nicht korrekt. Jeglicher Verursachter Schaden geht zu Lasten des Dienstleisters in USA und Kanada, da zahlt keine Versicherung dafür es sei denn das Fahrzeug ist als Totalschaden geschrieben. Bei dieser Bergung hätten 2 50 Tonner völlig ausgereicht und hätte bei weitem nicht so lang gedauert aber manchmal muss es halt bissl Länger gehn wenn man nach Stunden abrechnet ;)

Hola ! J'ai l'impression qu'on est tombé sur la tête, j'ai arrêté mon entreprise ARI dépannage international dans le sud de la France près du Circuit Paul Ricard en 1993. cette sorte de travail, à l'époque , je l'ai eu fait seul avec un seul camion , un Fiat 619, un 6x4 équipé d'une flèche avec un treuil de dix tonnes et un treuil de halage de vingt tonnes. le plus long c'était de démonter l'arbre de transmission du tracteur en suite de trouver une aire suffisamment grande pour faire demi-tour, je relevais l'ensemble d'une seule manoeuvre et j'enlevais le tout sans dételer. les temps ont changé j'ai l'impression de voir un show, du cirque!!! Bravo!!!

@John Webster. Quite agree, all of it rather a 'bodged job'. They nearly managed to pull the 'MAN' wrecker over at one point, as it was it slid sideways. Don't they use "air-bags" any more, - they could have 'pushed' that artic unit up so as the 'centre of gravity' was level again. One thing always intrigues me is why don't they disconnect the 'tractor unit', after all they do have a 5th wheel coupling, - they are not permanently glued together. I think a lot of these 'jobs' would be easier if they fully or partly unloaded the trailer. The only time I've seen them use any sense was when they 'pumped' a trailer full of grain into another one - time taken 1hr to deal with the grain and about the same to do the recovery. Personally I would have wanted that complete side of the road shut.

Что-то какая то тупая команда эвакуаторщиков, нахрена 2 эвакуатора и такой кран ? Там одна машина все бы сделала, почему троса цепляют за подвеску, что за идиотизм, на каждом прицепе по бокам на раме есть проушины. Можно было вообще одним краном обойтись, такой кран как на видео может в одиночку эту фуру поднять и на дорогу поставить. Правильно кто-то в коментах написал "чего же они еще вертолёт не вызвали ?")))

Slapstick pur! Hätten ein halbes Dutzend Grundschüler besser hinbekommen! Die im Stau stehenden Verkehrsteilnehmer danken noch nach Jahren. Hebelgesetz und die Gesetze von stehendem/ drehendem Rad sollten die noch ausführlich lernen. Ein mittleres Bergungsfahrzeug (Zwei-Achser) sowie ein Fünf-Tonnen-Kran zum Gegenhalten hätten gereicht und es wäre auch der Tank(Deckel) nicht fast abgerissen worden. Viel Erfolg!!!

Vollpfosten bei der Arbeit , Der Iveco is viel zu schwach um den Trailer zu ziehen , der MAN wäre besser gewesen . Haben hier einen Kühl sattelzug der von der strasse ab in ein tieferliegendes feld kippte , mit 2 Tow trucks wieder auf die räder gestellt und so wie rein auch wieder raus geholt . diese bergung mit vollsperrung und strassen reinigung dauerte 3 stunden wir brauchten keinen kran :-)
