Clint and Matthew both became shady characters in later episodes. Guess they had to keep poor Bo on his toes, as he had to struggle to keep both of them in check.

Todd was being an insensitive jerk like always I know he hated asa but at least keep it to yourself for the sake of your nieces who were asa's granddaughters

I hated how they made Clint a villain later on. I could have handled his being a businessman like Asa but his personality. And pairing Clint with Nora was especially bad.

Jerry Van Dorn was just fine as Ross on Guiding Light, but he couldn't hold a candle to Clint Ritchie, the original Clint Buchanan. He never had the same dynamic with Bo and Asa that Ritchie did. Nor did I buy him as a good-old-boy from Texas. Also agree that his pairing with Nora was terrible.

I missed a good chunk of this show, about 10 years or so. Who's Sarah? And it's nice to see Matthew as a sweet kid, not the snot-nosed brat he's becoming now.

Sarah Roberts is Asa's great-granddaughter (His grandson Cord's daughter). Her mom is Tina Lord, Viki's sister.
