Great video! Are you saying that you would isolate a module and connect it to a voltage divider circuit and and termination resistor and see if it responds? I'm guessing it wouldn't be receiving any multiplex info it would normally have but you can still tell if it functions? I'm thinking of buiding that circuit to test the modules. I understand the other points, but I do have a non-functioning bus with 2.5v (actually 2.24v) and more importantly 60 ohms, so adding a resistor doesn't do anything except make it 40 ohms. Just want to point out that you repeatedly say the termination is in the PCM and IPC (aka MIC or cluster). That might be true in a Dakota but in my '98 Jeep its in the PCM and BCM... I'm pretty sure that's the case in most models and the bias comes from the PCM, not both. Also not many models have the junction connector that you refer to, just a few years with CCD. Don't want to send people on a wild goose chase. Regarding the voltage, mine is about 2.24 and I've seen info that it's 2.5v +/- .25v. But I guess the way to tell if it's functioning at that voltage would be to test with a scope?

I have an 02 dodge ram 1500 cargo van. My scanner it's capable of reading abs modules. But when I plug it to this van obd2 I can only read the ecm. Not the pcm and abs module . When i try the abs it gives me a msg "to use Chrysler CCD connector. My abs and brake light are always on and I can't retrieve codes from the abs module because of this CCD adapter or connector?🤔 Do you have any ideas how to get about this? I'm completely ignorant on this matter as of today. I'm reading stuff on Google but it's not sinking in. Thank you for your time. :)

Can you solve your issue? In your case the problem is probable to be in the speed sensor located on the differential. That sensor is necessary to the ABS for working and the failure makes the ABS and brake lights to be on
