The best part of Gates was the music, hence why there is so much returning music from it in Super. Super was alright by my standards. The gameplay was really fluid, and I could see many improvements brought in from the PMD series, but also other spin offs like Etrian MD. The story however was trying to ride the success of explorers and that's where it fell short. Its just a quintessential hero's journey, that's all.

Personally, I think the transition between Mt. Freeze and Sky Tower is better. It’s so seamless that for years, I honestly thought that the Sky Tower portion was just part of Mt. Freeze’s theme.

@@Veritas466 nah I disagree. I like the more chiptune and older style of blue rescue team. Sky had some great songs like crystal crossing and temporal tower but I still find myself listening to thunderwave cave, great canyon, sky tower, defy the legends, magma cavern, and buried relic a lot more. Sky did reuse some tracks like this, buried relic, and defy the legends so that's cool but all of the new songs weren't as good.

I honestly couldn't remember Mt.Freeze, but when Sky Tower kicked in I was instantly teleported back in time, holy shit. And it happend again when Thunderwave Cave stated playing! Such an amazing medley and so fitting that it plays (canonically) during post game, specially if you played Rescue Team before playing EoS :')

i come back here every so often for 2 reasons: 1. Its a great pokemon mystery dungeons track, who wouldnt rewatch it when they wanna? 2. I miss CA:R (roblox game that used this track in their ice area, game died due to devteam dramas, game was eventually entirely removed for unknown reasons other than data issues making it highly unplayable.)

Blizzard island Is not only a very accurate simulation of what every Activision Blizzard employee has to deal with, but it also makes me imagine the designers at a conference meeting discussing how to make an unreasonably punishing experience, and one random person suggesting “okay, good.
