Hunted the Carey a few years back and they loved rubbing the ant hills, also very steep and thick. Nice vid

Certainly still steep and thick. Thanks for your comment 👍

Just got to work rostered on for the next 2 week's, watched that vid and now wishing I had called in sick to go out for another hunt! 🤣 Great watch mate, it really has inspired me to keep pushing further out of my comfort zones to see whats out there. Beautiful work filming those young stags and thanks for the funny but yet very important "tip of the day" 💩 Ahahah.

Mate, love watching your hunts. Human game trail into that place. Bump into a few of your mates sometimes in there. Have them literally on my doorstep, but that lure of big wild country is like a drug. We r always exploring new country, but that place always drags us back.
@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures3 ай бұрын
Hey Jeff, you're right about the lure of the big country. I've been chasing the rainbow for decades. Interested to know who you've run into in there that call themselves my mates ?

Good bit of bushwhacking there Zebra 😃. Please consider putting your pole straps on the other way, hand from bottom up, this will give a clear hand if ya slip on those rocks and ya shouldn’t break your hands. Keep up the great work.
@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures3 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, I generally don't use the straps, apart from crossing rivers.

Great content mate!! Good to see you not taking the young stags... Mate what sort of GPS device do you use in the bush? notice you had some device on your wrist?
@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures3 ай бұрын
I only sparingly use AVENZA on my phone as a gps. The device on my wrist is a Gopro remote

Do you drink straight from all of the rivers and creeks or use purifying tablets/filters?
@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures3 ай бұрын
I usual drink the water unfiltered, if I do filter it I use a gravity filter from Platypus

Yeah no camp chairs or any of the other gear I have at main camp makes it a bit of a rough camp. I still love it though

That's a lot of work pushing that far back Zeb unfortunately for no reward better luck next time.

Sometimes your efforts aren't rewarded with a trophy animal but the experience is rewarding enough.

That was someone else's camera.

That’s crazy. Doesn’t matter where you go these days everywhere gets a flogging
@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures3 ай бұрын
@4thehounds383 would say this place gets flogged but I agree there are fee places you can go no one else does.
