I just did this today (Feb 1, '14 - but from the other direction). Took loads of pics but none came close to capturing the thrill and splendour of it all. Well done ... this is what I'll show my friends. And as Chris remarks, you didn't (stupidly) try to impress us with how brave (stupid) you are by driving it any faster than you sensibly did. Yes, very well done and thanks.

finally... FINALLY someone has done it right! Simply turn the camera on and let me sit back and enjoy the ride and the beautiful scenery without them thinking they have to set some kind of land speed record doing it! You've given me what I have been looking for and I salute you for a wonderfully well done production! The music could probably be changed to something a little more mellow, but hey, that's what I have a volume control for.. but that's small potatoes compared to the terrific job you've done with the filming. Again, congratulations on a superior job.. looking forward to watching your other works!!

Your video gives me more confidence to travel the dirt road. I would like to take the circle route to Globe and back to A.J. Thank you for sharing your adventure.

VERY nice! I've saved this to my large Arizona playlist, to the Superstitions/Salt River section, to share it with others. Thanks so much for posting it.

Nice making a trip back there, don't remember any of it being paved. Was there in 1966 and 1968. Like yesterday to me.

Most of it was paved back in the 60s.

So I just did that stretch coming down the mountain at Trotilla Flats. A little nerve racking.

OK. So, I have a fear of heights. I got to the forty-six minute point and had to give it a rest. I could never travel this trail. I would have a heart attack before I got through.

Very ,very dangerous road with "NO" guard rails here and there. I hate this dangerous road, have been on it two times , two times to many.

Tom, what video equipment do you recommend for these types of videos? Love the color that comes through, and thank you for going where I would not have the guts to. :)

Its called great video if I mute the sound. Really. Peaceful back-country road trip accompanied by the soundtrack from Beavis and Butthead go to a rave. The vids you put up with the ambient background sounds of the road were some of the best I have watched. This is noise
