I think that you are the first french person I've come across who spoke french so clearly and slow enough for ppl like us to understand most of what the conversation was about. Thanks 🙏 so much for that!!

Just finished my A1 level and wanted to progress in french by listening to native people communicate in the language and this is by far the best channel I came across....... For a beginner, the English subtitles and french captions at the same time help us familiarise with the french words that are being spoken and at the same the englush subtitles help us learn what it means. :) merci beaucoup. Good job

thank you for this podcast. I am Romanian living in America for 24 years and I can speak English nearly to perfection. I am also intermediate in German and did some Russian in school. My DREAM is to learn French. I do not know French at all but since both of our languages are Latin base I do understand a lot if it is spoken slower. I did enjoy listening to both of you and am ready to start this year learning French! Thank you so much for the kind words about Romania. I am glad you enjoy visiting our country. P.s. Before Communism took over my country, Bucharest , the capital city of Romania, used to be called Little Paris! I can also see from movies that Romania and France share a lot of cuisine, gestures, and culture in general!

Merci pour ton message. La Roumanie est un très beau pays. Nous y retournerons bientôt. Having a latin language as your mother tongue will make learning french very easy. I'm sure you'll be able to speak in no time.

You are a great person to watch videos to learn French, I am at beginner level and you're videos are very helpful for listening practice and also to see the Eng/French subtitles, and you speak clearly and slowly enough that I can more easily hear how to correctly pronounce words , and follow along , I am so happy to find you're channel cos I have tried to learn French quite a few times but always stopped due to content being too fast and I get frustrated, merci beaucoup For you're videos !! 💛

I like your podcast! I’m learning French as my third language. I think one forget how much labour you put in as a kid, whenever you try to learn a new language. I’m fluent in English now, but that took enormous of dedication to teach that level. I’ve an easier time learning a new language now as an adult than I had as a kid. I think adults tends to bash themselves more than kids do. You set expectations and if you don’t meet them, and that’s partially what keeps adults back. Also adults tend to question much more things or try to comprehend waay too much too fast. Just relax. One step at a time and learn by application. Learn one small 2% step at a time, and allow yourself to make many mistakes.

Bonne chance :))

Michael keeps asking questions and Nicolas almost always "Qui" at the beginning :D Thanks for the podcasts though. I am already improving thanks to you guys. Hope to write what I want in French one day. Merci beaucoup pour vos podcasts. ils m'aident avec la vocabularies des debutants.

Thanks for the video, though I have to admit I disagree with you about kids learning languages quicker. I had French classes at school for 6 years (years 6-11), and when I left school in 1989 I couldn’t speak French to save myself. After all these years, having forgotten it all, decided to learn French. After 7 months on my own I am at a better level than when I finished year 11, just by memorising vocabulary and some shadowing and reading easy stories.
