09 June 2024 Regular raccoons here tonight and pouring rain out

I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

They are so cute! You are so sweet and generous to host this band of masked "bandits"!!! You can save extension cords by splicing them together and loads of electrical tape which probably isn't recommended, but it works. I'm sure you probably already know this, though! Lots of critters (including parrots and raccoons) love to chew through that rubber/plastic on extension cords. I guess it feels good to them. Kitty looks snug as a bug in a rug in that new cat tree! He looked at you like "you woke me up from my cat nap What for???"
