Wednesday just at dusk with my raccoons

I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

All those Momma's, boy there are going to be loads of babies. Jim you are a typical bloke, all your furniture is Grey, so you choose a Brown chair. Angie you are an angel making sure the water is cold and fresh for the Raccoons. They need it poor things, you could hear the panting. The chair is very nice. However because a wood floor can be slippery I would recommend putting a non skid mat in front of it. A friend of mine came home and found her Mother on the floor because she slipped when the chair lifted her.

Our squirrels were being very noisy& chasing each other. they were raising a ruckus, knocking things down on our patio & even tried to get in the house. Got a stray kitty we've been feeding , we call him Samie2. Samie1 went somewhere and we haven't seen him in awhile. This one's very friendly and may try to adopt us. We don't mind, cause we love all animals. You both are so cute. We love you & your fur babies.

Hi Angie and Jim. The cutie crew are here already Hungry crowd. Nice to see the regulars . Even the growly one makes me laugh. Survivor of the fitest. She makes sure she gets her hot dogs😅. Jim you are so funny. Wow!! hot there. Have you folks discussed getting an A/C. My broke down last week and I had it replaced ASAP. . With these high temps we are prone to heat strokes, esp us older folks. I'm not looking for trouble. These raccoons must be so hot with their fur coats poor babies. The mamas need their pool to open. 😎 I’ve never heard them pant so excessively. I heard Jim say a chair that stands him up, so I thought he was getting one of those tall walkers that keep you standing up. You have an electrical power lift chair. It’s super luxury and nice leather, that should help you a lot.

They weren’t tamed. Jim’s first wife started feeding one raccoon and they just all started coming. Jim continued feeding them after his wife Jane passed away.
