+Bryson Tudor It looks like a Neumann U 87. It's definitely a condenser mic. They run in the $3-4k range. A nice budget mic that is almost as good is the Sure Beta 27. I have four of them and they are very flexible. I use them mainly for drum overheads, but they can work for just about any instrument or even vocals. Hope this helps.
