Your channel deserves so many more views! I live in southern europe so I have no idea about rice planting. Your videos and especially today give me strong My neighbour Totoro vibes. Be safe and have a plentiful harvest.
Even with modern machinery, rice farming is still back-breaking work--and has to be done on nature's schedule. Hope you find time to rest and recharge in between these big jobs! Thank you for the time and effort you put in to sharing this content despite all you have to do.
Hi, gambatte ne 🎉🎉🎉. So happy to finally see you planted rice at the rice field. By now, you should keep a dog to look after your house and crops. 😊 Where's the stray cat 🐈 that appeared last year or last 2 years?
All your guys hard work is paying off, the scenery around your home is beautiful and luscious. Well done to all your challenges you both have succeeded in 🎉😊❤🌹💐💖👍💯
Great video. Sorry, but had to laugh when the pull cord broke on you and the look on your face. The raccoon dog was a great end part. I had to google it to understand what type of animal it is but see that it has a meaning of wealth so maybe he was there to give your rice paddy good prosperity for harvest time.

Looking at how hard it is to plant rice reminded me of what my father once said when I was young. “Do not waste rice. Must eat up every grain in your bowl. This is to show our appreciation for the farmer who planted and harvested it.” Yes, I taught my children the same thing and they, like me never waste rice. I pray that you have a good yield this year. Here in Sarawak, Malaysia, our harvesting is almost ending and on 1st June is our Gawai Festival to give thanks for bumper harvest.

Watching you plant rice, I became curious if rice can be grown here in Canada and I was shocked to find out it IS being grown here! Apparently, Nova Scotia is very similar to Hokkaido and a couple like you two have been growing their own rice for several years. There is also rice cultivation and research in Ontario! I wonder if it could done here in British Columbia? A wonderful video as always. Thank you for the peek at your projects.
Here's hoping and praying that your crops would not be attacked by pest and diseases and also be safe from natural calamities such as strong winds and rains!
