I grew up in a split household and my dad would always take us to the park(there weren't these trampoline parks around then 20 some years ago 😂)and we went out to eat before we switched. It always made a good transition. You're doing a great job!!

The kids are spending quality time with someone they need in their life...wow Oscar, my dad could take some lessons from you and he's in his 50's. I was never a priority in his life and even to this day, (in my 30's) it still hurts me. Some parents don't think that what they do will have lasting affects on their children but that thinking is so dangerous. You don't have to be a perfect parent to be a good parent, remember that! You are doing amazing and you should be proud!!!

Some people just don't realize how important a whole family unit is. Every child needs a positive female and male role model in their lives. With that being said, try not to be too hard on your Dad for not always being the best when you were young. All parents make mistakes and one day you may regret not working through those issues and getting the peace you need while he is still alive.

My parents hated each other and stayed together until my sister and I were out of high school, just because they didn’t want to hurt us. But it was absolute hell. Happy parents are far better than having a family “together”. Now your kiddos get quality time with happy parents, not constant fighting and depressed alcoholic parents

And when my kids see their father i look at it as a positive. Its me time that i get to do whatever i want. I spend the time doing what makes me happy. Practicing hobbies or mini traveling, experiencing new places and things. Doing things that make me happy. Which makes me a better mom mentally and physically i get to be more present without getting overwhelmed or burnt out all the time. Hope this helps.

Oscar was so relieved when you took a few blankets out! Haha Also I was a single mum from when my daughter was two. Her dad loved her but never came when he said he would etc broke my heart. It was so hard playing both mum and dad and everything in between. So proud Oscar with your mindset. I would have loved a week off just once but wouldn’t change it for the world so think of it as a recharge and working on yourself like you want too. Then when you do get the kiddos your not exhausted. Love ya Oscar love Leisa Western Australia xxx

Oscar my love! You only need a table spoon for a load of laundry! Look into it. Using as much as you did doesn’t allow the concentrate to wash away properly and you are left with the residue of soap slowly building up and it leads to smells clinging on longer over time and your clothes feeling dirty! Using a tablespoon or a little bit more for larger loads guarantees the best wash and saves you product and money!

You do SO very much for your kids Oscar. Don't forget: it's ok to take time for you. It's ok to relax if you feel you need to, it's ok to have 'lazy' days because frankly that's taking care of you. Resting and doing things for yourself when you don't have the kids IS doing something...it's recharging your battery because you've been through a lot and you still have 4 kids who need you - just the way you are and what you currently provide for them. Take care of you today, Oscar!
