yeye, glad he is playing this Like I mentioned on the tbfp reddit, Fun fact, I applied to work on this as an animator. One of the very few times I ever got an email back even though I was rejected. Usually when they dont pick you they also ghost you. And it was funny, it was almost verbatim "Sorry we took so long, there are only 4 of us and we got over 280 applicants, like 10 times as many as we thought" Along with a sweet thank you. I was touched they even bothered, then I played the game and my only regret is not getting to say I worked on one od the best video game stories ever. But I am so happy for there success

This is my personal narrative GOTY. I may've had more fun from other games this year- but this game engaged me in ways few have. I'm so excited to see what Woolie and Reggie's thoughts are throughout the story.

There are definitely extremists, the lore investigates the truth about the god/gods of their many religions, and you can criticize the Chantry institution, but it is still possible to “believe” in the Maker sincerely without real consequence as part of your roleplaying, especially in Inquisition.

Worship isn't always just bad in videogames. Metaphor for example shows that religious faith can be very nuanced and complex.

In metaphor you prove to two separate societies that everything their entire worship structure is based on is a lie, I don’t think that it’s a stellar example of a game where worshipping is good.

@n.o.9838 First off spoilers, second the game doesn't just go "religion is a lie therefore bad" after these truths are pointed out people are not discouraged from continuing to practice their faith but instead to do so in a healthy capacity without losing sight of reality because there are some actual positive things about faith. Third, the question was is there a game where religion is not portrayed as bad, and metaphor portrays it as pretty gray which is not just bad.
